Do you also think that there is a jungle of information and that you go in circles on the internet when looking for answers on how to get started, or how to develop as a diver and/or as a photographer? Do you find it difficult to get answers on how to become a better and safer diver? Is it unsafe to dive alone? Would you like to help change this?

Or maybe you wonder how others get stable footage while yours shakes? Are you wondering what is edible on a crab? How do you clean scallops? How do you actually navigate underwater? Or maybe you are not a diver, but a "relative" who wants to try to understand why your loved one is so hooked on diving, and you are trying to understand if he/she is safe?

runarunderwater.com is a newly started blog and website that deals with topics related to diving, clean seas, fishing, photography and film. The motivation for working with the website has several facets. In the first instance, it was about using my expertise to create a website for me and my interests instead of on assignments for others. Secondly, it is about spreading joy, pictures, film, knowledge and inspiration to new divers. And META's (facebook, instagram) latest changes in addition to X's changes probably had something to say as well. Thought it might be good for me to store my photos on a platform I control.

Do you want to help contribute with your knowledge in a diving-related special subject? Or perhaps within the exact camera system you use?

The road is created as we go

We will collect and structure essential information, images, film and expertise in one place and offer this expertise to others who want to learn more about a topic and/or a specific product. But to do this we need members, and to get members we need contributors. Those who help build the platform get free membership, free access to all special courses and discounts on upcoming products. To the extent that it is a chicken and egg situation, I am convinced that we must start by getting more people to contribute.

runarunderwater.com will have top-level "Ultimate Guides" that give members concrete information they need to become better and safer divers, better photographers. We will also create an online store that sells accessories to make you safer and better as a diver.

Build data solution, then build content

The website now has a member's module that needs to be properly checked out. So become a member and give me concrete feedback about things that work, that don't work, that are missing or that would have been cool to include?

Build content

Come along, right?

Building a forum: Why is this so important?

In order to build a forum and a database of information, I need contributors. In the first instance, I need more people to become members on the website and to report back to me about technical and visual challenges with the forum and the website.

I need people who help create the experience of a working technical data solution. You will help set the tone for how this site will develop and what information will come. Here you have the opportunity to help arouse readers' interest and make them appreciate the content of the website in its entirety.

I would like an answer to how it is experienced, technically, to become a member on the website. What do you see and what do you wish you saw. What changes when you get more rights in the technical solution.

Building Content: Projects? Blog? Forum? Online store?

It is about the transfer of information. That is that the content of the website must be dynamic and renewed. Work must be done with social channels and content must be produced both on the blog section and on the information section.

The online store I am thinking of will initially have some safety products for divers. This is a completely separate project that I hope to get started. Need to get in touch with someone who can 3D print some prototypes first. As I have been involved in advertising production, large format plotting, and the production of adhesive labels, I first thought I should set some standard marks for divers for marking equipment and such. Have gone a bit away from it again, but maybe? This was the way forward.

I have started portfolio photo projects. Exactly how this will be grouped and built up, I am not sure yet. And what about more contributors? So the question is how can you contribute? Right now there is a rough sorting into main subjects and then species. The focus for me here is photographic quality rather than documentation of species.

I have started to build my own CMS solution in WIX studio. If only to see what opportunities it offers. As a dealer and admin at WIX, among several solutions, I am interested in "deep diving" here as well.

German or Spanish language

Maybe you are German or Spanish and can use your writer skill to translate? I do use auto translate, but its not perfect.

Come along, right?

So if any of this applies to you, connect with the website as a member, and we will talk in more detail about exactly what you can contribute. Love to hear from you. I need your help and this would be fun.
